The short version

SwingReview runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. Your swing videos belong to you and stay on your phone. The only data collected is crash reports that don't include your name, contact information, or video content.

Your swing videos

All swing detection, recording, and trimming happens on your device, not in the cloud. No internet connection is required to use SwingReview on the range. Your videos are never uploaded to Tangential Technologies, LLC or to any third party. Clips you save are stored on your device (and in your Photos library if you choose to save them there), under your control.

Information collected

SwingReview does not ask you to create an account, and no personal information, usage data, or analytics are gathered. If the app crashes or encounters an error, an anonymous stack trace may be collected to help identify and fix the issue. These traces contain technical information about what the app was doing at the time of the error — not your personal information or video content.

Camera and photo access

SwingReview requests access to your camera so it can record your swings, and to your photo library so you can save and review clips. These permissions are used only to provide the app’s core functionality on your device. You can manage them at any time in your iOS Settings.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Tangential Technologies, LLC does not receive or store your payment information. Any data related to a purchase is handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.
